Challenges include regional development coordination between urban, rural and regional areas, environmental pressures and uncertainties around future development directions. She also acknowledged the huge gap between the economic output and fiscal revenue between the Pearl River Delta region and other sections of Guangdong Province. Zhang Haimei’s analysis provided attendees with a detailed and in-depth understanding of Guangdong’s economic situation.
Li Fengliang closed the report with a speech. He pointed out that Professor Zhang Haimei's report demonstrated the positive development trend of Guangdong's economy in this new era.
