    Yonghong Deng joined the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology as an associate professor in 2016.6. Dr. Deng has published more than 90 papers and filed 14 China patents. She is in charge of 7 funding scontaining 2 Natural Science Foundation of China, and her two projects were qualified by the Project Assessment from Science and Technology Agency ofGuangdong. Besides, she won the first prize of Guangdng Provincial Science and Technology Award asthe main researcher, and the second prize of Natural Scientific Award of Mininstry of Education as the main researcher.

Research Interests:

◆ functional polymer materials:molecular design, self-assembly, and application.

◆ high-performancepolymer bindersinlithium ion batteries.

◆ solidelectrolytes for lithium ion batteries.
